Challenge:
The company faced a growing demand for additional storage space for palletized loads with non-standard dimensions.
An additional challenge was the need to incorporate existing machines, numerous installations, and control cabinets into the project design.
Implemented solution:
PROMAG S.A. proposed a freestanding mezzanine floor as the optimal solution, enabling the customer to gain additional storage space above the existing infrastructure within the production hall.
Before implementation, precise measurements of the layout of machines and installations were carried out to ensure proper positioning of the mezzanine.
The mezzanine was designed to avoid collisions with the existing installations and equipment. Additionally, the new structure was tailored to match the mezzanine already in place at the facility.
Due to the height difference (~900 mm) between the new and the existing mezzanine, a connecting passage and an additional staircase were installed. The mezzanine was equipped with railings of increased, non-standard height, further secured with steel mesh panels.
