The 8th ‘ WAREHOUSE OF THE FUTURE’ Forum is over
How does the automation of warehouse processes address the challenges faced by companies? What benefits does it bring? What can be automated and how? The answers to these and many other questions were known to the participants of the 8th FUTURE STORAGE Forum organised by PROMAG S.A.
‘Automation and digitisation of warehouses in response to market challenges’. – this year’s edition of the event organised since 2015 by PROMAG S.A. took place under this motto. During several hours of inspiring lectures and intensive discussions and talks behind the scenes, the forum participants had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the latest trends in the area of automation, digitisation and robotisation and to find out the answers to their questions.
During the event, PROMAG S.A. experts presented, on the basis of implemented projects, how innovative automatic storage, transport and picking systems and AMR robots respond to the challenges of the economy and problems faced by entrepreneurs on a daily basis, such as high costs of doing business, shortage of labour or variability of demand. Case studies were used to present, among others, the first implementation of the autonomous AutoMAG Pick system in Poland and an automatic transport, robotic palletising, packing and labelling and storage system for the BRZEŚĆ Sipa company.
What undoubtedly distinguishes the FUTURE STORAGE FORUM from other industry conferences is the practical character of the event organised by PROMAG S.A.. Taking place in the PROMAG Warehouse Technology Center, the event gives participants the opportunity to participate in live demonstrations of new technologies in the field of warehouse automation. This year’s edition presented, among others, the work of autonomous AMR forklifts, including novelties – the AMR PROLIFT forklift, the AutoMAG PICK autonomous transport, picking and storage system, the AutoMAG PICK automatic vertical lift rack, the VERTIMAG automatic self-propelled wrapping machine, the AutoMAG Shuttle dense storage system, and an automated transport, picking, palletizing and storage line.
We would like to thank the participants for their participation and inspiring discussions, as well as for supporting the action of planting trees in Polish forests. Funds from ticket sales, thanks to the Posadzimy.pl team, will soon be transformed into a hundred new plantings, which in time will become mature trees.
